In an effort to ensure the health and safety of both patients and staff at all St. Joseph’s facilities, please adhere to the following practices:
Visitors who accompany patients into the ED or any other clinical areas will be unable to remain at the patient’s bedside if the patient tests positive for COVID-19. This includes those who tested positive while in our ED or on one of our inpatient units. Please communicate this to patients and visitors when they arrive so that they are aware.
We hope this will eliminate confusion and frustration on the part of patients and visitors.
As a reminder, we are currently at a “Level Yellow” status for all visitors.
