Employee COVID-19 Testing Update

Over the past week, there has been a growing demand for COVID-19 testing from both the community and our SJH employees. While community members continue to be directed to our Community COVID Testing Site at 11 Getty Avenue in Paterson for COVID-19 testing, we want to clarify the current policies and procedures for employee COVID-19 testing.

Employees will only receive a COVID-19 test if they meet the following testing protocols:

  1. Vaccine Exemption Testing – for those employees who have an approved vaccine exemption and testing is a requirement of employment. Please continue reporting to the following locations for testing, Tuesday through Thursday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:
    a. SJUMC employees: Testing in Conference Rooms – located on Basement Floor of SJUMC
    b. SJWMC employees: Testing trailers in SJWMC parking lot
  2. COVID-19 Exposure – for those employees who have been notified by SJH Employee Health that they have been exposed, are symptomatic and testing is required

Any employee who begins to experience COVID-19 symptoms, are feeling unwell, or has concern they have been exposed to the virus – are advised to please contact SJH Employee Health at extension: 2265 for further instructions prior to submitting for any testing.
