Severe weather is expected to impact our facilities in Wayne, Paterson, and Totowa tonight and tomorrow.

Key Points:

  • Flood Watch in effect this afternoon through Wednesday morning.
  • Heavy Rainfall: 1 to 2 inches expected, locally up to 5 inches.
  • Flash Flooding: High risk in urban areas, poor drainage areas, rivers, and streams.
  • Thunderstorms: Potential for strong to severe storms with damaging wind gusts.
  • End of Week Threat: Additional heavy rainfall possible Thursday to Saturday due to Tropical Cyclone Debby.

Precautions:

  • Travel: Avoid if possible during heavy rain and flash flooding.
  • Facility Prep: Ensure emergency equipment and protocols are ready. Check basements and lower levels.
