Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7:00 p.m. Friday for north east Jersey. The first wave of organized snow appears to be done for our region. Pockets of mixed precipitation (sleet/ice) or light snow possible through the evening/ overnight. Little to no accumulation expected. We are tracking a second wave of snow coming through our area as the storm moves out tomorrow. An additional 1”-3” is possible for our northern region.
Operations Plan for Friday, 2/19:
- All Hospital (Paterson & Wayne) and LTC (Cedar Grove) are open for patient care and will not be impacted by this storm
- All staff expected to report to their scheduled shift
- Expect longer times for travel. Suggest you give yourself extra time to get to work. If you like to arrive ahead of your shift, we will work to find accommodations until your shift starts.
- For Friday, February 19 – All Ambulatory/Outpatient and Physician Practices (regardless of location) will be open and have regular office hours
- Staff should park in their designated parking locations to ensure we have adequate space for our patients and visitors
- Non-clinical, back office, non-clinical support services should use work from home where previously approved by management
- At this time, we do not anticipate offering staff pick-ups. We will coordinate with staffing office and if the storm changes will be prepared to support staff pick ups tomorrow
- COVID 19 Testing sites will be open (Paterson & Wayne), but will have a delayed opening on Friday. Target is 10:00 a.m. Patients have been notified
- COVID Vaccine Clinics –
- Paterson Hospital location – will be open regular hours: 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Wayne Hospital location – is normally closed on Fridays and will be open regular hours Saturday
Marshall Street – School location – Will be open regular hours: 12:00 p.m. – 8: 00 p.m.
