Visitors Policy Moves to YELLOW — Effective September 17, 2021

In keeping with the New Jersey state-wide standardized visitation policy, the Northern New Jersey region has been elevated to a “Level Yellow” status for all visitors, going into effective Friday, September 17, 2021.  Although the St. Joseph’s Health COVID-19 positive patient volume continues to remain steady, the change in status is based on the coronavirus risk levels in surrounding communities.

Under the “Level Yellow”:

  • No visitors are permitted for COVID-19 patients.
  • No visitors are permitted for those patients who are immunocompromised, except for circumstances approved by the care team.
  • COVID-negative patients are permitted two visitors (over the age of 18) per day, unless otherwise approved ahead of time.
  • All visitors must undergo a temperature screening and adhere to all social distancing guidelines.
