As of 11:00 am, Getty Avenue has been fully reopened between Madison Avenue and Hemlock Street. Emergency crews have cleared the scene and normal traffic flow has resumed.

As of 10:15 this morning, Getty Avenue is closed between Madison Avenue and Hemlock Street due to an electrical pole fire in the area. Emergency crews are on scene and working to address the issue.
All staff traveling to or from St. Joseph’s University Medical Center are advised to use alternate routes and allow for extra travel time. This closure may impact hospital access from Getty Ave until further notice.
