St. Joseph’s Health Emergency Management will be conducting a Full-Scale Emergency Preparedness Exercise on November 18, at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson.
Employees may notice an increased presence of emergency responders, hospital staff in PPE, active radio communications, and the use of theatrical smoke as part of the training environment. All activity is exercise-related and not connected to any real incident.
Hospital operations will continue normally.
If patients, visitors, or colleagues have concerns, please reassure them that this is a planned exercise designed to strengthen our readiness and response capabilities.
