The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning for this approaching snow storm. This report is as 6:30am today. Still similar to yesterday’s report, but now some forecasters modeling that the storm may stay closer to land, which could result in periods of mix precipitations (snow/sleet) in our Paterson area and changing to all snow. If this is the case, we will see approximately 8”-10” of snow minimum; however, if the storm shifts 20 miles the other direction, the snow amount will increase closer to 14”-16”. If you live north or west of this area, expect all snow event with totals closer to 18”. This storm will look like a Blizzard at times with high wind gusts and blowing snow. Some power outages expected.
