Winter Weather Advisory for Thursday, February 6, 2025

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our region, with a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain expected early Thursday morning into the afternoon.

Key Details:
🔹 Snowfall: Up to 2 inches for most areas, with 1 inch expected.
🔹 Ice Accretion: A glaze of ice across the region.
🔹 Timing: Snow will begin after midnight, mixing with sleet and freezing rain by the morning commute, and transitioning to rain by late morning for coastal areas.
🔹 Impact: Hazardous road conditions during the Thursday morning commute, especially on untreated roads and sidewalks.
