Last week, we announced that St. Joseph’s Health would transition to a mandatory vaccine policy for all employees. Since then, Governor Phil Murphy announced that all healthcare workers in New Jersey must receive the COVID-19 vaccine no later than Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Healthcare workers who are not vaccinated must comply with regular COVID-19 testing at least once a week, as a condition of continued employment.
Based on HHS and FDA recommendations, Bamlanivimab monotherapy should NOT be offered for COVID positive patients with mild to moderate disease. Due to variants, combination therapy of bamlanivimab and etesevimab should be offered. For now, St. Joseph’s will not offer Bamlanivimab monotherapy until we are able to obtain etesevimab.

As the snow is moving out of our area, all operations throughout St. Joseph’s will open with regular hours on Monday, February 8.
A winter storm warning is in effect on Sunday, February 7 from 6:00 a.m. to 9: 00 p.m. due to a fast-moving storm that is expected to bring another 4 to 8 inches of snow to our region.
