Due to a significant rise in viral respiratory illnesses, including Influenza, mandatory masking protocols are being implemented across all St. Joseph’s Health locations starting 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, until further notice.
Mandatory Masking Guidelines:
• Visitors and Vendors: Required to wear masks at all times inside acute care hospitals, physician offices/clinics (including waiting areas), patient service areas (outpatient sections, labs, radiology, infusion services, radiation oncology areas), and waiting areas.
• Staff: Mandated to mask in all areas listed above, as well as classrooms, conference rooms, and shared offices with more than one person.
Additional Reminders for Employees/Staff:
• Wash hands frequently with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer when handwashing isn’t practical.
• Stay home if you are sick or experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness, such as fever or cough.
This policy will remain in effect until further notice from the Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing and Patient Care Officer, or President and CEO.
