We are now on day 4 of a heat wave with high temperatures predicted to be over 90 degrees. The humidity is very high, making the weather sticky and sultry, and this pattern is expected to continue all week. Feel-like temperatures are exceeding 95-100 degrees due to the combination of heat and humidity.

- Beryl’s energy will mostly stay northwest of New Jersey, but some of it will pass through overnight Wednesday into Thursday, bringing a few inches of rain and a chance for flooding in northwestern areas of the state.
- This forecast is fluid, the exact track of the remnant moisture may change, potentially increasing the risk of flooding.
- Following Beryl’s remnants, the weather will be very “Florida-like” with mostly sunny days, evening pop-up thunderstorms, high humidity, and hot temperatures.
