Mask Use Continues Throughout St. Joseph’s Health

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released updated guidelines suggesting that fully vaccinated individuals may cease wearing masks in most situations. To clarify, this does not apply to healthcare. Regardless of vaccination status, mask wearing is still required throughout all St. Joseph’s Health facilities.

Per the CDC, all healthcare facilities including inpatient and outpatient settings, long-term care facilities, clinics, and physician offices must maintain mask use until further notice. Further directives may be issued specifically for New Jersey by the Department of Health. We will continue to monitor and follow DOH guidelines.

Unvaccinated individuals should maintain mask use at all times and in all situations.
