Due to a shortage of COVID-19 vaccine supply throughout New Jersey, St. Joseph’s Health is implementing the following changes until additional vaccine is allocated to our organization:

First doses for St. Joseph’s Health employees are temporarily suspended. Second doses will continue to be administered at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center (Auditorium) and St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center (Meyer Conference Room). Appointments are not required for second doses.

At this time, there is no impact to those whose 1B eligible family members already have appointments at the Hani Awadallah School on Marshall Street in Paterson or on the Wayne hospital campus. Those appointments will be honored.

We are in the process of creating a site for employees to book first dose appointments, and will communicate when that site is available. All appointments will be dependent on vaccine availability.

As a reminder, hours for employees to receive second doses on the SJUMC and SJWMC campuses are as follows:

• SJUMC: 7:30-11:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday
• SJWMC: 7:30-3:30 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
