Early yesterday, we shared with you that an information security breach has occurred nationwide within UKG Workforce Central (Kronos), the time and attendance system used by St. Joseph’s Health that allows us to process payroll. We have since learned that the breach was a ransomware attack that is affecting organizations across the country.
In keeping with the New Jersey statewide standardized visitation policy, the Northern New Jersey region, which includes St. Joseph’s Health, has been elevated to a “Level Yellow” status for all visitors, going into effect today, Friday, December 3, 2021. Although the St. Joseph’s Health COVID-19 positive patient volume continues to remain steady with slight upticks, the change in status is based on the coronavirus risk levels in surrounding communities.
